This year, we were proud to be the presenting sponsor of the Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), Walk Like MADD Upstate event at Clemson. There was a great turn out of people looking to do their part in ending impaired driving in South Carolina. Along with the walk, there were beautiful memorials that honored the many children, parents, siblings, and other close family members who were killed by drunk drivers in South Carolina.

Law Office of Kenneth Berger receiving an award from MADD MADD’s mission is to end drunk and drugged driving while supporting the victims of these violent crimes. It is the nation’s largest nonprofit that is dedicated to educating and ending driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol to keep our roads safer.

Walk Like MADD is their signature fundraising event to create a future of no more victims by raising funds and increasing awareness of the harm and devastation caused each year by drunk drivers. MADD raises money with each step to accomplish their goals of ridding the streets of drunk or drugged drivers and providing resources to those who need it.

This year’s Walk Like MADD Upstate event raised more than $85,000 to help eliminate impaired driving in our state. We are proud to partner with such an incredible organization whose mission is closely aligned to our own: to seek justice in our community by protecting the lives, rights and dignity of those who have been harmed.
