I grew up in a small town in Upstate New York, about thirty minutes east of Rochester. Around the age of twelve, my mother retired from the Department of Veterans Affairs. She and my step-father decided to head “down south” as I begrudgingly tagged along. At that time, we had no idea where we would end up. After months of traveling, we ended up in West Columbia, South Carolina. I attended Fulmer Middle School, Airport High School, and Midlands Technical College. I began working at McWhirter, Bellinger & Associates in 2011 as a file clerk and moved my way up to a litigation paralegal. I worked with a great group of people there, that I refer to as my McWhirter Family, for a little over five years. During that time, I quickly discovered that I have a real passion for litigation.
Although I was born in New York, South Carolina is my home. I love this state and I love the people in it. This season of my life is comprised of work a good majority of the time. However, outside of working, I have a husband, three children, and a poodle named “Si.” My husband has worked at Michelin for over twelve years. My oldest is in Elementary School and the other two children are under the age of three. We attend Ebenezer Pentecostal Holiness Church in West Columbia, South Carolina, where I am the Nursery Coordinator and volunteer. Since I have a huge family back in New York, we try and go visit at least once a year.
At the Law Office of Kenneth E. Berger, I am one of your litigation paralegals. I cherish the relationships that develop with our clients. I work diligently and passionately, alongside my teammates, to help our clients acquire deserved justice for the unforeseen harms that have been done to them. Should you have any questions, I would be honored to speak with you at (803) 790-2800 or via email today.
