As a child I always heard adults say, “Life is not fair.” The acceptance of inevitable unfairness…didn’t seem fair. Over time, I realized people had a better shot at a just outcome when their voices were heard. As a first-generation attorney, I chose to go to law school because I wanted to help people navigate the complexities of the legal system, and give a voice to those who would otherwise go unheard.
After graduating from the University of North Texas, I attended law school in Minnesota where I received my J.D. from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. During my law school career, I became a top 10 national ranking member of the mock trial team, and I served on the executive board for the Latino Law Student Association. I simultaneously served my community as a certified student prosecutor for two years at the Ramsey County Attorney’s Office where I spent half of my experience drafting and arguing Criminal Appeals, and the other half arguing felony cases. The most rewarding part of my role at the County Attorney’s Office was knowing that I helped give justice to victims and helped safeguard our community.
That rewarding feeling has carried over to my role here at the Law Office of Kenneth Berger. I am proud to be part of our team because I know our firm’s core values resonate with my own. I know every case we handle is fueled by a passion for bringing justice to those who have been harmed and the rewarding feeling of making the community a safer place.
