The Law Office of Kenneth Berger hosted our second free bike helmet giveaway on December 17, 2022, to celebrate the holidays and encourage bike safety in the Columbia community. Our firm was able to provide 65 free bike helmets to children and families in the area. Each helmet came with educational flyers and information sheets to ensure parents are up to date on bicycle safety information.
According to the Journal of Brain Injury, people who wore helmets when they rode bicycles had a 51% reduction in risk of traumatic brain injury and a 44% reduction in risk of death compared to those who did not wear helmets. The Law Office of Kenneth Berger is proud to provide necessary safety gear to local children to help keep them safe.
Kids who attended had fun at our various stations, including a sticker station for customizing helmets, hot cocoa bar, baked goods table provided by Ally & Eloise Bakeshop, and a meet and greet with Santa Claus.
Our hot cocoa bar was stocked with delicious, warm hot chocolate, along with all sorts of fun treats to mix in.
We are so grateful to Ally & Eloise Bakeshop for providing beautiful, delicious baked treats for our event. The cookies were a favorite among children and parents alike.
Our special guest was Santa Claus himself, who met with many of our families to spread holiday cheer and hear what our attendees were hoping to get from him for Christmas.
We were also able to give away two free bikes through a social media giveaway and an in person raffle.
We had a great time, and we are so happy that so many members of our community made it out to the event. We couldn’t be more thankful for the families who stopped by to learn about keeping their children safe!
